ImPower 3 Youth Mentoring Program (2023): Empowering the Future
In a world filled with opportunities and challenges, the role of mentorship is more critical than ever before. The ImPower 3 Youth Mentoring Program, in its third year running, continued to be a beacon of hope and empowerment for the Armenian youth. With each passing year, the program grows stronger, connecting young minds with experienced professionals from across the globe.
During October – December 2022, the ImPower 3 Program gave its 27 young participants and their mentors more transformative experience, fostering lifelong connections and empowering the leaders of tomorrow. Building bridges, changing lives the ImPower 3 Youth Mentoring Program, organized by YES, brought together Armenian youth from diverse backgrounds and connected them with accomplished mentors hailing from various corners of the world. This unique initiative was designed to empower, educate, and inspire young individuals, regardless of their place of residence, to dream big and achieve their goals.
The program boasted a roster of experienced mentors, experts in their respective fields, who are committed to nurturing the talents and ambitions of their mentees. Whether it’s marketing, finance, content writing, law, education, IT, medicine, management, or any other area, these mentors are here to guide, support, and share their knowledge. The ImPower 3 Program was not just about career development; it was a holistic journey of growth. Mentees had the opportunity to not only learn from their mentors but also build essential life skills, connect with peers from across Armenia, and forge friendships that can last a lifetime. Through workshops, discussions, and hands-on projects, participants emerged from the program with newfound self-confidence and a clearer vision for their futures. Mentees were encouraged to develop their team projects that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to make a positive difference in their communities and beyond. This emphasis on social responsibility empowered young Armenians to become agents of change and contribute to a better world.
The culmination of ImPower 3 Program was a memorable graduation ceremony hosted in Vanadzor, Lori by Lori-Pambak Regional Museum in a unique setting, among the invaluable handmade carpets from Shushi. The mentees reflected on their transformative journey and celebrated their achievements. This event was not just a formal affair; it was a testament to the bonds formed and the growth experienced by each participant throughout the program.
As we look forward to another year of empowerment, one thing is certain – the future is brighter with programs like ImPower paving the way for the leaders of tomorrow.
