ZERO HUNGER

According to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), poverty rates in rural areas of Armenia are high (30.4%) as of 2016. Our aim is eliminating hunger in a sustainable way, that is, providing food packages and sweets to Armenian youth and families in rural areas. YES also organizes fundraisings to support families new skills to become self-sustainable. Thanks to our dedicated donors, we plan to fund several Armenian children annually.
YES also has a number of other events to fight poverty, the most popular one being our annual Christmas Gift Drive, where we gather donations to provide food and warm clothing to children in border villages, and summer fundraising events to provide children and their families with hygiene and school kits.
